Rebecca Evans

Rebecca was educated at the University of Leeds, where she studied History. She also gained a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge. Rebecca is a former Welsh Labour Organiser for Mid and West Wales, and a former Senior Researcher and Communications Officer for an Assembly Member.

Prior to being elected Rebecca worked as Policy and Public Affairs Officer for a national disability charity. Working on behalf of people with disabilities, their parents and carers, and the professionals who work with them will be amongst Rebecca's priorities in the Assembly.

Rebecca has been appointed to the Health and Social Care Committee, and the Environment and Sustainability Committee.

Rebecca is Vice-Chair of the Cross Party Autism Group, and Vice-Chair of the Cross Party Group on Beer and the Pub. She is also an Officer of the Cross Party Group on Neurological Conditions, and a sponsor of the Medicines Knowledge Base Programme.
